June Campin Pics Weekend 1

Dh took this one , I'm bringing up the rear:
My guys at one of the most beautiful yet very scary spots on our mountain bike outting:
At one of the many many (did I mention many) designated overlooks:

The highest point in Arkansas is at an elevation of 2,753... our house located in Northwest Arkansas is located at an elevation of 1,340:

My oldest son & I were acting goofy at dh's expense... just wait until I scrap this one of him, maybe a blow up of his face where you can't really see what/who he's pointing at? lol

Hope you enjoyed this little bit of my home state as much as I enjoyed going there!

Slacker Scrapper

I've been busy lately, not with scrapping or stamping, but with enjoying life... so I'm taking a little time off from paper production to actually live & enjoy the fam! Camping in the mountains this weekend with just the four of us. Camping at a creek next weekend with my fam, my brother & neice, maybe his good friend & fam, and maybe my good friend & fam - doesn't matter how many there are, as long as we're together! But when my little s&s vacay is over, please be assured that I'll be back with a vengence posting my "artwork" (lol) as often as possible.

For now, gotta go find my tank top, shorts, hiking boots, sunscreen, and try on the dreaded bathing suit (surely that still fits... yep, like sausage in a tube!). The hammock is already loaded!

Here are some pics from previous camping trips:
Biking at Mt. Nebo
Looking for diamonds at The Crater of Diamonds
High above the War Eagle River at Withrow Springs State Park
Just one of the awesome views at Mt. Nebo
This weekend takes us to Mt. Magazine, this highest point in Arkansas. Next weekend to Cyclone, Missouri on the Big Sugar Creek.

A big ole THANK YOU goes out to: Lucy @ Lucy's Stamp N Scrap Hideaway, Deborah @ Scrapbook Czar, Amy @ My Life... as a Wifey, and Janelle @ Jaks Scraps! I'm just glad people actually LOOK at my blog, let along give me awards for it! lol

Here are my choices (in no particular order!):
I hope everyone enjoys their blogs as much as I do! Keep up the great work, girls!

Be Yourself card

My boys' last day of school was Wednesday; and while my older son could go to Grandma & Grandpa's house, my younger son had a baseball game Thursday night. So my friend, Vanessa, took care of my younger boy Thursday and today. Tomorrow night I'm taking her out to dinner & made her this card as a Thank you as she won't take money. What a great friend!

I also ramdom stamped the envelope in the same color palette.

I've been busy this week...

but not with scrapbooking - at work & getting ready to go to my nephew's graduation. SO I've decided to re-post a favorite picture I took for work back in December. It was freezing cold just before the sun came up when I got this shot. I LOVE how blue the sky is plus the head/tail lights blurring as the cars go by. All the matching buildings are in a development my office produced.

Thanks for looking!

22MAY09 Scrap Addict's Attic

I thought that maybe all the girls that don't get to come scrap in the Attic would like a peek...

The Sewing Station... during a crop we put food on the right end of the table, potluck style. Wonder Woman is a painting on canvas. Eventually this corner will go away when we have the money to add another staircase and this ceiling will then be a full 8' tall.
This is sitting in my chair (note placement of television for scrapping along). The taller "table" infront of me is actually our pool table, I keep it covered with a sheet to keep the felt top clean from scrap dust. The tan table on the far side of the room is for my boys to do their crafts on.
Here's my table when stand infront of the tv. To the left of the dartboard is my embelly cabinet, below and to the left of that is my mom's stuff (she just leaves it at my house).
The "cube" cabinet it my newest addition (need to get a good pic of it alone, it's awesome) and my old drafting table is perfect for setting eyelets & printer storage.
I love my room so much! Dh has been very generous with letting me have this space to myself with the exception of the addition of the pool table. When we want to play pool, I just fold up the tables and lean them against the front of my "cube" cabinet 1. it's out of the way and 2. it keeps small hands off my stuff ;-) We've had 11 scrappers working at one time in the room, sardines!
Hope you like it!
